Sad News

So on Sunday (August 23, 2009) I found out that my parents released my turtle into a lake.

I wasn't informed/notified/asked and they had actually lied about what happened.

My mother first said that it died in their care (they were taking care of it since I was moving/in the process of buying a new tank). But later fessed up that they had leave it somewhere in the wild because they decided that I should not take care of it any longer.

So yeah I'm pet-less and kinda depressed about it.

Feeling better now though that a few days have passed, but doesn't mean I won't miss him :(

Hoping to find something else to care about other than people that truly care about me.

Baking

Personally I love baking. I think its fun to be able to create something really tasty in the oven :)

So today I decided to make more muffins since I still have so much buttermilk. So I tried making some Poppy Seed Mini Muffins with a little buttermilk substitution. Omg are they moist!

Made some cookies too, and they're okay, but could be better since I didn't exactly follow the recipe to the T hahaa.

I've been constantly urged to do another photoshoot by a friend in the last few months. I think its good, since I don't have to pay for it... but at the same time I don't feel like i'm at my best so I don't want to. Also my Momo doesn't particularly like it so much.

Other than that, not much else happened today. Just: laundry, dishes, baking, finishing bed.

Time to make some dinner :)

Here's something else i'm working on right now, just cause I delayed an image I promised to you guys earlier this week.

Don't take the flame too seriously though, it's just suppose to be Tsuna-kun hahaha. Though I do love REBORN! It's just some random hair doo I liked in my BiDan 08-09 issue and a familiar pose :)

I'll probably have the picture done soon, since there's nothing on TV :(

Kenny "Muggy Mug" Mugisha
His tricks were okay, but I think I've seen a lot more skilled tricks being performed that were a lot cleaner. Worried he might not be able to pull off something like the Waltz where you have to be tight and clean to get the marks.

Amelia Randal
I like how shes so graceful and how when she looks into the distance, it actually looks like she's reminiscing. But I agree with the judges, I would've wanted to see some height or a spin.

Stephaine Sy
She's back :) I like how she has power and grace in her routine. Kinda wanted a bit more of a story though.

Andy "Spandy" Rimer
WOW I was laughing my ass off. Reminded me of when one of my classmates did the the Napolean Dynamite dance. Anyways, noway jose :P But seriously some funny guy.

Wow. Her movement is so twisty! It makes her very interesting, at the same time though I wish she could jump higher so she'd be even MORE dramatic.

Definitely more tricks than Muggy I think though I wanna see him on the floor more. Also wayyy too much posing. Like what in the world was that last little pose after the pose for? Weird.

She did well, poor thing though, wish she'd worn something simple though.

Looks just like he's running in circles, but I don't doub that that is actually the native dance and that dancing in such an outfit is hard. What a passionate speech <3

I liked how she reached for it during her jumps. Also thought she did an overall good job :)

Nice ticking and waves and stuff. I think he definitely hit it harder, but I wanted to see more relaxing and then hitting it out. Cause then it's kinda hard to picture him doing contemp or jazz where you need more liquid flow.

I think he'd look better as a full dirty blonde, as apposed to the Aaron carter look he's got going there. His intricate moves and choreography is amazing. Great dancer :) Needs to wax his chest a bit though haha

Wow. Very cheeky.... Oh dear. She does feel very old hollywood but almost a bit skanky considering the white panty thing. Still takes guts to do a flip with those heels on.

Leading to Commercial: Loved the reaction for the 2 hotties :)

Amusing and very fun to watch. Think it's funny how he's a cardiologist tooo. Haha finger tutting too. He's good at what he does :)

Burlesque aye... I think Ariel out shown her in the skills department. Though, maybe the camera cut a lot of stuff from her routine, cause while Rachael was just oozing sex...

... Ariel was showing her flips, and that crazy splits which made me cringe. Definitely think she's got the moves and the skills.

America's Got Talent

Fab Five
Their sync and formation was great! Though even if they're moms, they're young and pretty and should really amp up the sex appeal I think. Sex sells, and especially with that kinda song, I would've wanted to see at least a little waist, and less frump.

Charles DeWayne
He kinda looks funny with the hair I think, or at least with what he's wearing maybe? Also he looks really big in the shoulders/pecks cause of the suspenders I think. It's so different from what we saw him audition in. Love his voice though and his piano playing is very elegant. Also I can really see that cover performance of his become an instant classic on a debut album or something. It's just got that airy-ness that is really needed for certain songs.

Carol Loo
I didn't like it! She was so unique and cute and quirky during the audition, but during this it just seemed like she lost everything that was special about her in the hurricane of what society demands from dancers these days. Really thought this time around she really got lost, what a pity. She was out shined by the background dancers too since it was so different what they were doing. Her pony tail extension was cute though.

Tony Hoard & Rory
Aww Rory missed 2x! I feel sorry because he has to keep up with such a frantic practice with such a distracting and noisy stage. I mean 11yrs? Old dog, so it should be hard for him to keep up, especially since its a collie, and collies are so eager to please.

Eleisha Miller
A little diva/drama queen, I can tell she's gonna be one of those fame starved kids in the future, she looks like she's working herself to the bone, but if she's not good enough, she'll put herself down to the point of exhaustion. It's in her tone and her extreme expressions in her face. Just doesn't seem natural.
Anyways her performance, she's cute I guess as a kid singing and having fun. But definitely not talented enough to be paid to watch. Her singing sounded more like screaming the whole way through. No range as well. If you compared her to maybe one of the child broadway stars out there right now (such as the ones playing Annie), she's no where near that. Again it's the "she's a kid, so we're lenient on cute kids" thing. It's a load of bull and it's unfair for the people who actually have a shot at this.

Paradizo Dance
Loved the stage with the fog machine and the stars in the background, and I thought the spinning with her on his shoulders with no support while shes on her side. Wow. Other than that it seemed like the audition to me though. The stiff pick up was cool too.

Texas Tennors
Now I think I missed them during the audition episodes... but they kinda remind me of something you'd hear in a Disney movie LOL. Especially that blonde one, he kinda sounds like the comic relief character :P I like the voices of the other 2, because those are quite powerful. Don't like the blonde, he's too odd in the group, since the other two are obviously much lower compared to him. If it had been more of a progression of voices, it would've sounded better.

SQ Entertainment
They're okay, tight, choreo is good but truthfully I wanted to watch Deadliest Catch more hahaha = =;; I mean SQ isn't bad, but nothing much to get too excited about I think. Especially since I can't really get a feel for what they stand for. I mean compared to the guys on ABDC, who all kind have a focus for the kind of style they have, and they have a short period of time to perform too, so SQ can't really say "oh that's another show, another league". Glad Piers and I share the same opinions most of the time, but apprently not this time.

Pete Peterkin
Sad, I thought he'd actually play the piano for most of the time, but I don't think so. Also the audition was better I think, rather disappointed.

Alizma
Squeeeky! Gosh they seriously should've seriously just stuck to the voilin... Ugh

Beale Street Flippers
The rose flip was smoooth. Though I really wish they did something similar to the Acro Dunk guys where there'd be some trampoleens and such in it.

The Voices Of Glory
Their harmony was amazing. Maybe since the girl is alto, their voices seem to blend into a boys choir at times. Although wow, still they keep their notes steady and their lungs are full of it. The oldest stands out though since his mouth is doing that O shape most of the time. I think the little boy is the least noticeable of the bunch, but makes up for great accompaniment.

WOW The figure skater came back (Emanuel Sandhu)! But his hair is so odd. Definitely more skilled than before and really made an impact in his audition. I was waiting for Mary's shout... and then it seemed like she wasn't gonna give it. But okay there it just went. Hahaha

Nataile Lyons: I was worried about her in the beginning, but she showed some promise. Though I wished she could've hit it harder though.

Yana Gorojanova: Those are legs of confidence! They kept dancing even after the music, not many people have done that. Usually you see some girls have slightly unsteady legs when they lean onto their partners, but she's solid. I think she just gave me a feeling of a serious dancer. No offense to the others though.

Melanie Mah: interesting, though I don't see why her mouth needs to be opened the whole entire time. Looks ugly, she should use her face as part of the act, and not leave it robotic. Would've put more life into her solo and compliment her piece.

Paul Kus: He had a face like "omg my body is possessed!" Haha. Though it looks like he was getting really tired at the end. So i'm not sure if he can keep up to something more demanding :/ Think he should've gone to choreo though.

Tatiana Parker: Hmmm... I'm being mean here, but I don't think her arm movements are hitting hard enough or .... sharp enough? I don't know something about her arms felt soft and rubbery at times, especially where elbow movement was involved.

Sebastian Mersch: I saw a little Mark in him. He didn't seem to jump too high, but his arm movements were really nice and intricate in a strange way.

Melaine Buttarazzi: She commands more sex than Yana earlier, but for some reason I didn't want to stare at her legs as much :/

Vicky Luo: Liked her performance, it's different than the ones you'd normally see around here, but that was really cool :) Though I think she might get canned cause she might not be able to keep up with the other ones. The kung fu kick was cute too

Brook Jones: Reminds me of a few friends of mine, they also do lyrical hip hop. But yeah its a competition he needs to step it up.

Kate Barett: Nice piece, she started doing a robot face, but she changed it a bit later on. The shirt was distracting, I think something sheer would've enhanced what we couldn't see under the frump.

Noel Wosu: Fun song, lively routine, but started feeling he was getting top heavy by the end. Makes me wonder if he can float during waltz or contemp.

DAY 2 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Frank Lariviere: *shock* Sorry if I spelt your name wrong, :/ too shocked

Jenna Lynn Higgins: Her hair reminds me of Emily from Student Bodies. Anyways her height [of her jumps] is amazing, and her legs are sooo long christ. shes very sexy and graceful too i think.

Manuel Dos Santos: Wow omfg he's nuts. To the point his footwork looked shakey. But yay some partner stuff. Although I wanted to see some connected, hand in hand dancing.

Jonathan Arsenault: Wow his jump was amazing. Although the song choice was a little odd. Some parts of his choreo fit the music, and some didn't. Though he was very good. But that one part where it looked like he was bent over tired, he should've done something else there :/
What an amazing story as well.

Christian Ancheta: WOW that landing! He's one of the better BBoys in an audition I've scene considering how many heights of moves he made.

Katie Purcell: Her center isn't very good, though she's okay to watch. I wouldn't say I felt uplifted by it though.

Everett Smith: He has a pretty good center, good choice of song since it's not overpowering his tap. Also I think it really fits what he's trying to show about his style. Wow, he can pop out some Michael Jackson with those tap shoes :)

Anjelica Scannura: HAWT! Until she started trying throw in all those styles in there... :/ Sad she became a hot mess.

Kloe Schultz: She's intesnse with passion, and I like that in a dancer. Her center was wobbly though so it seems like she landed on a bad note.

Nina Strazzulla: Holy crap she's a contortionist. And holy her routine was really giving it all in her audition. Really looking forward to her in top 20 if she makes it.

Marcel Martinik: Well at least it's not Shakira this time but Enrique . . .

Austin Di Lulio: He does look a lot more fit than last year. And his spin was beautiful as was his jump. WOW he really goes seem to gain height when he jumps.

Xi-an Lam in the little bit before commercial looks very promsing, sad I didn't get to see his audition. Also Alvin looks so dorky like that it's kinda "cute" as Melissa would say haha.

Well looks like that's it for auditions. :)

In Love

Couldn't really sleep just now, so I started thinking about all the memories I've had in the last year with my partner in love ;)

I can truly say this past year has been the happiest for me. The only times I've shed tears were when I was scared of losing him. Other than that, I've never had to when I was lonely. Cause I never felt lonely.

Thanks to him i've met new people, gained new friends, started my journey down the right path and have gained new insight on life.

I am foolishly in love. What can I say?

Aaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

I hate it!

I realized how much I hate updating/creating 20+ html pages for images!

But the deed is done now, so I'm happy.
I haven't been drawing as much anyways, so it'll probably be awhile til I actually draw something worth uploading onto the website anyways.

You could probably look forward to more oekaki type ones that i'll randomly do on OpenCanvas every now and then though. So please stay tooned for those.

Also if you're ever bored, and I am too! Do feel free to suggest something for me to draw (you can leave a little something under comments).
I find those quite challenging and fun, but I have to say, i'm not very good at drawing animals except dragons/lizards, so please keep that in mind and spare both of us the pain of what i'll produce from that. Hahahaha.

Beat Ya Feet Kings
Choreo was out of sync. Needed more umph. Their style was pretty interesting though.

Fr3sh
In their intro they were explaining about how they wanted to be unique and not "2nd rate to another group". Well they failed. They still were very reminiscent of Kaba Modern and So Real Cr3w. Even in their battle they didn't really pull it together to be better than what they're labeled as.

Massive Monkees
They were okay, didn't like all the posing in between though. Like even though it's hard to transition between tricks, but I still think they would've been more successful if they had half their group doing tricks, the others moving into place and alternating with the occasional break in between.

Rhythm City
Overall pretty good, just thought all the plaid in different shapes and looks was quite distracting from their moves.

Southern Movement
They gave me what I expected. The clean lines of line dancing, and the hard hitting feel of a hip hop group. They could go far.

Vogue Evolution
They're okay, could be better, but I was seriously scared that the big dude with the Boy George brows was going to do the splits.

We Are Heroes
Wow, props to the lean and popping. Figured that be really hard tensing one section of your body and then popping the rest. Pretty cool. Cheering for them this season :)

Verdict
I'm glad that person left, especially since they were already showing lack of skill the last two episodes. If Ramsay didn't boot them off, I would seriously question his judgement. I mean if your teammates have nominated you a variety of times already, than that's gotta say something.

American's Got Talent

Break Skate
Complete and utter disaster, as Piers Morgan said "There's a reason why Michael Jackson didn't dance on skates". My beef with them is, it feels like they're half assed break dancers, trying to make up for skill by using skating as a gimmick. The only part I went wow at, was when the guy in the centre made a little pirouette on his front wheels, and managed to stay centred.

Thia Megia
First of all, her name rhymes like Hannah Montana lol. She's a wonderful songstress, very mature voice for her age, so I'm hoping she'll develop some really mature sultry voice as she grows up, cause that's sexy. At the same time, I think her voice is unique to her look, so it works out. Just worried she'll actually turn into a new-age Hannah Montana. Great voice though.

Platt Brothers
They looked like N'Sync or the Backstreet Boys when they changed into their white outfits. Hahaha. Though it was funny, it didn't really seem like they brought anything new to the plate. So it's quite doubtful that they'll get too many votes from the American audience.

The Diva League
That was like a sexy mix of Thriller and glamour. I think they accomplished pulling of a routine that was fit for their physical limitations. Although, if I was a patron, not sure if I would pay for a 1hr show of guys lip syncing to music. So unless there's another catch to their act, again I'm not sure who'd pay for it.

LOVED the pancakes! But aww she got buzzed off... But the judges are right, the yoddeling dominatrix is definitely too unique to pass off.

Grandma Lee
She's awesome. I love how she takes advantage of elderly anger and uses it for comedy. Also loved her joke about bedding Piers, then Hasslehoff, and Sharon, sharon sharon, you walked right into that last one! Seriously wished she busted out more jokes though.

Mosaic
They're good, though I wished the vocals were stronger though.

Acrodunk
Very nice flow to their choreography. Though the flow kinda got disrupted when the back up dancers took to the front, but the end was pretty awesome. One of the few acts that kicked it up a notch.

Arcadian Broad
Didn't expect him to do piano at first, have doubts if he's actually the one playing the piano part though. At the same time I'm quite disappointed in his dance still, it's just too too random. If he's a real dancer he should be choreographing something like "So You Think You Can Dance" auditioners. Sometimes though, i don't like it when judges side with kids and just critique them lightly because they're young. It's unfair to those who are seriously trying to pursue something to be told halfheartedly that they're "okay" at something.

Drew Thomas Magic
Oh sh*t. How the hell.... O__O;;;
Now i'm starting to think there are hidden traps around the stage where everyone could switch. Especially when the guys went around the back of the big crate. And when, I assume Drew, went into the box, he actually hid under the stage to pop back up.

Kevin Skinner
I'm not a fan of country music, but he's pretty special. Doesn't clean up too bad either, though i'm not a big fan of the silly haircut though, it's too dull. Maybe he should go darker or should've left more hair on his head :/

Lake Huston Dance
Seriously, shouldn't cut kids and then bring them back and then cut them again. That's way too emotional of a roller coaster for some of those girls. I just hope they don't get destroyed by some of the better acts.
Good job on keeping up with the choreography for all the smaller ones, though I think some of the moves were too "Pussycat Dolls" for some kids their age. It's sad really that even little girls are using pedo-sex to promote themselves. Also the blur of pink is too much, couldn't keep up with their movements with all of it.

Well aside from my bitter critiques, today was quite boring.
Woke up to my mom coming over and barging in my door. She doesn't have a habit of closing the door or knocking. It's quite a problem actually.

My grandma was there too, she decided to clean though, sometimes I wish she would take it easy.

Decided to sleep in after my mom decided to barge in, since I definitely wouldn't have been in the mood to talk to her if she woke me up like that.

And since I slept in, I had an interesting dream... something to do with a door and a strange lock on it.

Going back to reading shoujo manga to perk me up a bit more. :) Have an awesome day night :)

Prepping Chicken
